Sector feedback on the qualifications and unit standards
NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) engaged with key sector stakeholders in May 2025 and with Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and People Potential Limited in August 2025, receiving feedback that confirmed the current qualifications and standards are fit for purpose.
As a result, the qualifications will be moved to the new template and the version information updated. Conditions relating to the Graduate Profile, Strategic Purpose and other requirements are unchanged.
Informed by the NZQA National Assessment Advisor, Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission and the Ministry of Education, NQS has amended the current unit standards, updating legislation and resource references and adding new references to Sorted in Schools resources:

The version numbers of the standards have been updated. Standard titles and numbers, guidance information, outcomes and performance criteria are unchanged.
