Around 158,000 students can now access their 2025 NCEA results via the NZQA website.
NZQA’s Contact Centre will remain open until 7pm tonight to support students, with a dedicated team of experienced advisors available to answer questions and provide guidance.
Students who didn’t achieve the results they were aiming for are encouraged to speak with their school or a tertiary provider about options available to them, including further study or alternative pathways. The NZQA website also offers information on pathways and support available (external link).
From 20 January, students will be able to view their marked exam papers online. If they believe a marking error has occurred, they have until 18 February to apply for a review or reconsideration (external link).
Students who sat New Zealand Scholarship exams will be able to check their results online from 10 February. After papers are returned, applications for review or reconsideration will be open until 6 March.
