NZQA has announced the winners of 2025’s Premier Awards, Outstanding Scholar Awards and Top Subject Scholar Awards:
Each of the 13 Premier Award winners received a minimum of
- four Scholarships at 'Outstanding' level, or
- three Scholarships at 'Outstanding' level and at least three additional Scholarships, or
- three Scholarships at 'Outstanding' level and at least two additional Scholarships, with one Top Subject Scholar Award and one Second in subject placing.
Top Subject Scholars received the highest result in that subject amongst all students entered for New Zealand Scholarship.
The Outstanding Scholar Award winners received a minimum of:
- three Scholarships with two at 'Outstanding' level, or
- seven Scholarships with one at 'Outstanding' level, or
- six Scholarships with one at 'Outstanding' level, including one Second in subject.
