By 4.30pm today, more than 83,000 students had logged in to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) website to view their 2025 NCEA results, which went live early this morning.
Acting Deputy Chief Executive Assessment, Utufa’asisili Rosemary Mose, says the day has gone smoothly, with thousands of students checking their results and sharing them with whānau and friends.
“Since exams wrapped up on 28 November, approximately 870,000 scripts have been marked, and NCEA qualifications, endorsements, and University Entrance awards processed,” Ms Mose says.
NZQA’s Contact Centre will remain open until 7pm to answer questions about NCEA results or University Entrance. Students can call 0800 697 296 for assistance.
Students who have forgotten their National Student Number (NSN) or login details can ask Awhina, NZQA’s website chatbot, for help.
“Students who didn’t achieve the results they were hoping for can find information on the NZQA website, or could speak with their school or a tertiary provider about the range of options and support available,” Ms Mose says.
