School actions
- Hand out the Exams Admission Slips as soon as possible and have candidates check and confirm that their entries are correct.
- If entries are missing, the late entry process detailed in the email sent from your School Relationship Manager in mid-September 2024 should be followed.
- Advise the candidates to:
- Create a learner account (if new to NCEA) or check their MyNZQA Learner portal
- Check their address. If a change of address is required, please make the necessary changes by data file submission to NZQA immediately. This will ensure any materials (i.e. certificates, RoAs) are delivered to the candidate’s correct address in 2025.
4. Remind candidates to keep their Exams Admission Slip in a safe place and to bring it to every exam. They must not write on it or share it with anyone.
Late entries
Late entries made after 26 August 2024 will not show on a candidate’s original Exams Admission Slip.
You will need to print and sign an updated copy from the school’s NZQA Provider log in (Reports > Exam Reports link) from 10 October 2024.
Replacement exams admission slips
If a candidate needs a new Exams Admission Slip, you can print a copy from the school’s NZQA Provider log in page (Reports > Exam Reports link) from 10 October 2024.
Candidates can also reprint their Exams Admission Slip through their MyNZQA Learner portal:
Any re-printed Exams Admission Slips must be signed by the Principal’s Nominee.
Return of marked NCEA and NZ Scholarship exam booklets
If candidates sat an NCEA or NZ Scholarship exam, their assessed exam can be accessed through their MyNZQA Learner portal in late January (for NCEA) or February (for NZ Scholarship) 2025.
It is important your candidates have created a NZQA learner account if they do not have one.
Exam booklets will not be returned in the mail.
