NZQA-recognised tertiary education organisations can apply for a type 2 programme change in the providers portal.

A type 2 change is one or more changes to components of an approved programme which impact the programme as a whole.

How to apply for a type 2 programme change

  • Log into the providers portal
  • Choose TEO Applications
  • Select Programme Change. This takes you to an application overview.
  • Click on Contact Details. The contact details page will be pre-populated with your organisation’s contact details. You should make any changes necessary to ensure the details are appropriate for the programme or accreditation.
  • On the Application Detail page complete the relevant fields. You can find detailed guidance on filling out the form below.
  • On the Supporting Documents page, attach all required documentation and evidence in PDF format.
  • Submit.

An email acknowledging receipt of your application is generated automatically and sent to you.
