Welcome to the Assessment Support Materials for Tourism Māori.
Māori identity is a significant part of tourism Māori in Aotearoa.
The Tourism Māori unit standards cover areas such as Māori communication, the importance of Māori place names, tikanga, kaitiaki practices and kaupapa Māori gatherings in relation to tourism Māori.
The resources on this page are designed to help teachers and tutors assess ākonga against the relevant Tourism Māori unit standards listed in the Directory of Assessment and Skill Standards (DASS).
Assessors can also use the assessment support material for the Tourism Māori unit standards to develop tasks and assessment schedules.
