How to see your results

If it's your first time logging in to view your results, you'll need to create an account. Make sure you have your National Student Number (NSN).

Understanding your results online
Each standard can have a range of results
These include:
- 'N' for Not achieved
- 'A' for Achieved
- 'M' for Achieved with merit
- 'E' for Achieved with excellence.
Other possible result codes
- 'ABS' for Absent
- 'SNA' for Standards not assessed
- 'RNA' for Results not available.
Achievement standards and unit standards
All "9xxxx" series numbers refer to achievement standards and all other reference numbers are unit standards.
As some standards can't be awarded all of these results, the result code is shown in bold where a student has achieved the maximum possible result for that standard.

Reviews and reconsiderations
Reviews and reconsiderations can take up to 6 weeks to process. If you are a prospective university student waiting for a review or reconsideration outline, tell the university that you have outstanding reviews or reconsiderations.
Reviews
You can apply for a review if you think there has been:
- a processing error in recording your results, or
- one or more sections of your booklet appear to be unmarked, or
- there is an issue with your digital or scanned script, or Level 3 Visual Arts Results Card or NZ Scholarship Performance Summary Cards.

Reconsiderations
If you think your exam has been incorrectly marked, you can apply for a reconsideration.
First, you should consult the judgement statement for the standard, which will help you understand how your final result was decided; these will be published shortly after results have been published.

For course endorsement, the standards that made up each course were selected by your school and if you have any questions about this you should contact your school.
Credit inclusion
Credit inclusion is when we recognise achievement from some certificates or qualifications that are not directly assessed using New Zealand Qualifications Framework Unit or Achievement standards.
Results from any of these programmes are not reported with your other results.
Find out more about credit inclusion in clause 7.4 of Schedule 1 of the Assessment Rules 2023:

Applying for credit inclusion
Your school can help you to make an application for credit inclusion. Credits from credit inclusion programmes will only be awarded if you require them to complete an NCEA qualification.
