The Top Scholar Awards celebrate the highest-achieving students from last year’s New Zealand Scholarship examinations
The ceremony was held at Parliament on 29 April, 2026.
Awards were presented to Premier Scholars and to the Top Scholar in each Scholarship subject. The Prime Minister’s Award for Academic Excellence was also announced and awarded.
