The Top Scholar Awards celebrate the academic achievements of the highest achieving secondary school students in the New Zealand Scholarship examinations.
The ceremony, held at Parliament on 7 May, saw awards presented to 2024's Premier Scholars and to the Top Scholar in each Scholarship subject. The Prime Minister’s Award for Academic Excellence was also announced and awarded.
