NZQA has announced the winners of 2023’s Premier Awards, Outstanding Scholar Awards and Top Subject Scholar Awards:
Each of the 10 Premier Award winners received a minimum of four scholarships at outstanding level; or three scholarships at outstanding level plus at least two additional scholarships, with four top ten subject placings.
The Outstanding Scholar Award winners received a minimum of:
- five scholarships with one at outstanding level, or
- four scholarships with one at outstanding level, including one Top Subject Scholar Award, or
- three scholarships with two at outstanding level.
Top Subject Scholars received the highest result in that subject amongst all students entered for New Zealand Scholarship.
