2023 Code self-review and attestation

The 2023 Code self-review and attestation submission deadline has passed. We will be in contact if your school has not submitted an attestation. As a signatory to the Code, schools are required to submit an annual attestation to maintain their signatory status and continue enrolling international learners.

If you are no longer enrolling international learners and would like to withdraw your Code signatory status, please email us at code.enquiries@nzqa.govt.nz for more information.

We have started reviewing submissions and connecting with schools if there are any issues or missing information. We will also be reviewing a sample of self-review reports for quality assurance and monitoring purposes this year. NZQA will be in contact with schools who have been selected for further review to share more information and next steps on this process.

We would like to thank all school signatories for their Code attestations and for their continued commitment to learner wellbeing and safety.

International Student Accommodation Survey

Education New Zealand (ENZ) has developed a survey on the provision of international student accommodation.

The survey aims to understand the supply of international student accommodation and any potential capacity issues or barriers experienced by education providers who enrol international learners.

If you enrol international learners, offer student accommodation and can take part in this survey, please click the link below.

You may also forward this link to a colleague who may be interested in completing the survey.

The survey is now open and closes on 1 March 2024. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

All identifying information will be held and kept private by ENZ. Data will be used in an aggregated form only.
