Welcome to the assessment support materials for Environment Māori
Environment Māori encompasses environmental knowledge, practices and values within a Te Ao Māori view. It involves sustainable land use, conservation efforts and the connection between people and nature.
These resources are designed to support both kaiako and ākonga as ākonga work to achieve the outcomes of Environment Māori unit standards.
The booklet includes guidelines and assessment criteria for various unit standards. It's important to make sure you’re using the most up-to-date standard by checking the NZQA website before using the materials in the booklet.
