Waiata-ā-ringa are songs performed with appropriate actions. This unit standard focuses on knowledge and essential skills of waiata-ā-ringa, and the ability to perform waiata-ā-ringa.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of the pūtake and tikanga of waiata-ā-ringa, and perform waiata-ā-ringa.
