About this standard
Poi is a dance form using a ball on the end of chord that is performed with appropriate actions. This unit standard focuses on knowledge and essential skills of poi, and the ability to perform poi.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of the pūtake and tikanga of poi, and perform poi.
