AS 91628 Clarification

Clarification for AS 91628: Develop a visual presentation that exhibits a design outcome to an audience

Clarification details

Updated September 2015. This document has been updated in its entirety to address new issues that have arisen from moderation.

Evidence requirements

Learners and assessors need to be aware that evidence is required for both the development of the presentation and the final presentation in the exhibition space.

The standard requires the student to develop a visual presentation to an audience.

Throughout the development of the exhibition, the student must show evidence of making design decisions that are informed by research, the needs of the audience, the exhibition space and the nature of the design being presented.

Students sometimes omit design decisions based on the nature and requirements of the exhibition space, and this does not meet the standard. Also, the student must provide evidence of the final presentation shown in the exhibition space.
