Outcome 3.1
A description of the problems in relation to translation and interpretation of words and/or terms from English to Māori versions of the Treaty of Waitangi should relate it specifically to the issues surrounding the translation and interpretation of rangatiratanga, kawanatanga and taonga.
Outcome 4.1
It is sufficient for students to explain the developing place of the Treaty of Waitangi in New Zealand law with references to court cases or laws as evidence.
