About these standards
Tiaki Mokopuna assessment standards have transitioned to skill standards. These skill standards promote and encourage a te ao Māori perspective when engaging with mokopuna and whānau. Ākonga will explore mana reo, whakamana, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga and rangatiratanga in relation to mokopuna in an early learning environment.
