How to submit an online application for qualification listing or review

You can submit your completed documents in the providers portal.

How to submit an application

  • Log in to the providers portal
  • Choose TEO Applications
  • Create a new application
  • Select Qualification Approval
  • Click on Contact Details
  • The Contact Details page will be filled with your organisation’s details. Make any changes necessary to ensure the details are appropriate for the qualification
  • On the Supporting Documents page, attach the documents you need to include, these are detailed below
  • Submit

Supporting documents

For new qualifications

  • the completed application form
  • a summary of the stakeholder profile and determined need
  • separate documents for each qualification prepared in the approved Word template
  • additional supporting documents (other than WDCs) stakeholder profile and needs analysis reports, and completed and signed attestations from key stakeholders.

For reviewed qualifications

  • the completed application form
  • reviewed qualification documents: tracked-change versions and clean finals
  • new qualification documents
  • an NZQCF Change report that includes:
    • a table showing the outcomes of the review
    • each qualification included in the review along with a recommendation for any change to these qualifications, including the proposed date for a change to qualification status
    • a summary of any new qualifications needed.
  • a review Report (not for publication) that includes:
    • a summary of the review process, consultation with stakeholders and their support for the changes.
  • evidence of consultation with stakeholders and their support for the changes (not required for WDCs).
