This workshop provides a brief overview of the Code while focusing on its application to international learners.
The aim of this workshop is to enable participants to:
- Develop an understanding of the Code and how the international outcomes of the Code (outcomes 8-12) connect with outcomes for all tertiary learners (outcomes 1-4)
- Discuss key considerations when implementing Part 6 (outcomes 8-12) of the Code
- Develop an understanding of how to navigate issues related to the wellbeing and safety of international learners under the Code.
This workshop is suited for those who have a base understanding of the Code and work with international learners.
This workshop is meant to complement the ongoing training and resources tailored to staff roles provided by an organisation as outlined under clause 10(2) of the Code.
