The New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) lists qualifications from Level 1 (certificate) to Level 10 (doctoral degree).
Qualification developers need approval from a quality assurance body to list qualifications on the NZQCF.
Quality assurance bodies
There are 2 quality assurance bodies responsible for approving qualifications.
- NZQA is responsible for approving and listing all non-university qualifications.
- Universities New Zealand is responsible for approving qualifications developed by universities.
