Information about digital assessment in Pacific languages

NCEA is changing. Students can now take some external assessments (exams) online using a computer.

This includes subjects such as Te Reo Māori Kūki ‘Āirani, Lea Faka-Tonga and Gagana Sāmoa.

We're moving to digital assessments because

  • most students learn and complete assignments online
  • taking assessments online is part of our digital world
  • students say they prefer online assessments.
