Outcome statements Putanga Whakatau
The outcomes achieved from the learning process of a qualification and the knowledge skills and attributes of a graduate. Each outcome statement must include information on graduate profiles, education and employment pathways.

Overseas Study Assessment Aromatawai Whakaakoranga ki Rāwāhi
This is for New Zealanders planning to study overseas for a level 7 or post-graduate qualification, they can apply for:
- an interest-free student loan for this course of study;
- an exemption from paying any interest on their current student loan.
Under section 452 of the Education and Training Act 2020, they need to supply Inland Revenue (IRD) with confirmation from NZQA that their study is comparable to levels 7, 8, 9 or 10 of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework. If currently studying overseas, they need to provide evidence to IRD that they have been enrolled full-time in their course.
