A government training establishment is any establishment that provides education or training and is a Crown entity or government department approved by the Minister, the New Zealand Defence Force or the New Zealand Police (Refer to Section 10 of the Education and Training Act 2020).

Grade Score Marking (GSM) Whakatau Whiwhinga
GSM is the marking process used in the marking of NCEA booklets. The candidate receives a numerical score for each question. The scores are then aggregated and converted to an overall grade for the standard.
